Our Bacchus is a fresh, delicate single estate wine produced every year since 2009. A favourite with the judges, it expresses the complexity of the Bacchus varietal and benefits from ample time resting on its lees.

Tasting Notes
Fresh aromas of elderflower, nettle and punchy green fruit. A hint of lychee can be tasted on the palate with a flinty finish.

Ein sehr trockener, erfrischender Weisswein, der an einen elsässischen Weissburgunder erinnert. Der warme Sommer 2018 ermöglichte es dem Produzenten, sein bisher bestes zu geben - sehr geschmeidig, mit einer klaren Säure und einer guten Tiefe. Es wurde von einer Jurorin als "aromatisch, blumig, erinnert an einen englischen Garten nach einem Sommergewitter" beschrieben.

The Pinot Noir / Rondo blend takes its namesake from the historic St Edmundsbury Cathedral, which once grew vines within its abbey walls. In the medieval period, a third of the tithe to Rome was paid in hogsheads of wine. It is this heritage which has inspired our best-selling English red.

Tasting Notes

A rich purple inky hue with aromas of vanilla, blackcurrant and toasted spices followed by a vibrant brambly palate with underlying savoury notes on the finish.
